Description
Home Again Jamaica is a housing relief initiative focused on rebuilding permanent, hurricane-resistant homes for landowning families affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Each home is estimated to cost USD $30,000, fully installed — including foundation, delivery, and basic utilities.
Our current goal is to fund and build one prefabricated home at a time, starting with the most affected parishes of Jamaica. While we begin with one, our long-term mission is to develop a nationwide network of volunteers, donors, NGOs, and suppliers so we can deliver more homes, more affordably, at greater scale.
This platform is being used to collect interest, build a support network, and accept early contributions toward the first home.
All funds received will go toward:
• Prefab home purchase, foundation, delivery, and installation
• Site cleanup and coordination with local contractors
• Administrative and operational resources to make each home possible
Transaction and processing fees are deducted by the payment platform.
Important Note
This initiative is currently in its mobilization phase. Funds collected through this page will go directly toward:
• Securing and installing the first prefabricated home for an affected landowning family
• Site preparation, foundation work, transport, and installation of the unit
• Administrative and operational resources required to coordinate and grow the initiative
Transaction and processing fees (approximately 4–5%) are deducted by the payment platform, and contributions reflect the net amount received.
Every contribution helps us move one step closer to placing families back on their land in a safe, permanent home.
Full transparency updates will be shared as progress continues toward our first completed unit and future expansion.
